The passport serial number is also printed (mine is &quot;Nr. 02592 U/40&quot;). Also, the cover of mine has less top margin, that is, less space above the emblem.

In regard to your recent finding of that Dienstpass 1944 posted on your website, please find attached some scans of a Dienstpass from my own collection issued in 1942 on Linz/Donau, Austria.
From yours mine has the passport serial number printed and not punched like yours.
