Actually it’s not true that paying some fee (USD 50,000) you will be able to buy a SMOM passport. First of all, SMOM issues diplomatic and service passports only. They do not have ordinary passports at all. Couple of years ago I contacted SMOM Embassy (or what is the exact name of their representative office, I don’t know) in Moscow and their Ambassador to the Russian Federation explained me the situation. It’s not possible to buy such passports. They can be granted for some activities. No any citizen of Russia or any CIS countries has such passports (issued by real SMOM). And all such passports for sale in internet are provided by different scammers.
