Aviation was a pretty new field in the early 20th Century but you already could find several newsletter articles about this topic and it’s inventors. The following two are from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle (Oct 1, 1911) and  Milwaukee Sentinel ( Jan 28, 1914).

The Passport

Windel’s passport is in excellent condition with an interesting photo showing him with hat, large U.S. seal, large folio and with a visa including large colorful seal from Venezuela. The passport was issued in October 1915. The Venezuelan visa is from Oct 1915 as well.
