Fake Diplomatic Passports: How to Identify UN Forgeries
Many people post pictures of their new passports online, proudly showing every personal detail. I’ve never understood this urge. You should never share your passport publicly. That kind of information can be used for fraud, and worse, someone could report your passport as lost or stolen.
Picture yourself abroad, presenting your passport at a checkpoint. Officials scan it, then inform you it’s listed as lost or stolen. Just like that, you’re facing serious trouble. I can’t imagine being in that situation. Would you want to be?
I came across another case: a fake “United Nations Special Agency Diplomatic Passport.” I challenged the person who posted it on Instagram and asked which “special agency” he supposedly worked for. His response? “I can’t discuss it with you unless you send me your security clearance.” What a joke! I showed him clear proof the document was fake. He blocked me right after.
The passport in question is completely fake – 100% bogus.

UN (United Nations) passports are issued as “LAISSEZ-PASSER” and are usually BLUE. Only the Secretary-General and directors do hold a RED document! However, these are ALWAYS a LAISSEZ-PASSER and NEVER have an imprint on the cover stating “DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT” or “SPECIAL AGENCY.” Plus, the Logo with the globe is different from the original UN Logo. It’s alarming how many websites openly offer so-called “genuine” passports or fake documents like these. Some even advertise through Facebook and Google. Fake United Nations Passport
