Kingdom Of Bulgaria Passport 1941 Axis Powers

To be honest I explored the significance of this passport during a discussion with a US fellow collector as he was searching for Axis Powers passports and visas. I told him I do have this Bulgarian 1941 passport with Bohemia & Moravia visa just at the second inspection I detected there is much more…

Sometimes you don’t pay attention to a collectible e.g. because it’s not your collection focus or because your memory doesn’t work any more that reliable at age 😉 It happen to me before with a British passport 1848 in a leather pocket. It took me 3 years to explore a “secret” folder with another, older British passport. Well, that’s another story…

This Kingdom of Bulgaria passport is full of Axis Power visas till page 26 of 46!
almost excellent condition, 3 x German visas valid also for BOHEMIA & MORAVIA, 2 x Hungary (Horthy), Transit visa Romania with revenue issued in Vienna, 2 x SLOVAK REPUBLIC, 2 x INDEPENDENT STATE OF CROATIA (NDH) one with revenues!, 1 x Yugoslavia, 3 x Bulgaria, several other border stamps, 2 x revenues Germany Police President Chemnitz, further a German resident permit issued in Reichenberg, another German visa with a remark “Passgeleitschein Nr. 1435”. 46 pages, filled till page 25 and low passport number 2612. I would say that’s a pretty rare combination of such visas in ONE passport!
