Netherlands Minister To Japan – Chinese Passport 1929
Netherlands Minister Japan Chinese Passport
A random search on a auction website was leading me to this Chinese passport from 1929. A great piece of travel document.
“Chinese ambassador to Japan Mr Wang Wei, hereby issue this passport to Dutch ambassador to Japan and his wife (Jean Charles Pabst), on their way from Northeast China to Peking, customs on this journey please let the bearer pass freely and immediately without interruptions. Republic of China, Sep 1929. Ambassador to Japan.”
Here the article of the Pittsburgh Press from 25 Jan 1942 on the death of Pabst.
