Two Passports of THE GREATEST Muhammad Ali At Auction

Two Passports of THE GREATEST Muhammad Ali At Auction

One passport was already offered at an auction house before his death and a second one came up just these days. The one at the auction house is described as replacement passport issued 1972 in Dublin and the one online claims their document is the missing passport (issued 1971) why the other (replacement) was issued. Now the auction of his 1972 replacement is closed but I couldn’t find an auction result. It looks like the document was withdrawn.

The passport at online is currently at US$22.800 and the auction is still running another few days. I believe a final result of ~US$40.000 is possible.

But then you will find also JOE FRAZIER`S last passport online for US$6.000 (or price suggestion) which comes with a reference letter from his late manager. Smokin’Joe Frazier was a Olympic Gold Medal winner, he won the fight against Muhammad Ali in the so called “Fight of the Century” in 1971 and he is a member of the boxing hall of fame.

Muhammad Ali, original name Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., (born January 17, 1942, LouisvilleKentucky, U.S.—died June 3, 2016, Scottsdale, Arizona), American professional boxer and social activist. Ali was the first fighter to win the world heavyweight championship on three separate occasions; he successfully defended this title 19 times.
