Andorra, 700 Years
You’re looking at an Andorran passport issued for the 700th anniversary of the Pareatges of 1278, the agreement that basically created modern Andorra as a co-principality. The cover literally says VII Centenari 1278–1978, so it marks that anniversary. These weren’t souvenirs. They were valid travel documents, just printed with a special anniversary line on the cover. These 1978 passports are scarce. Production numbers were small because Andorra had a tiny population and even fewer passport holders then.
