Siam becomes Thailand on 23 June 1939, but again briefly Siam from 1946-1948. Hence, the below displayed Siam 1947 is a rare example.

In 1977, Thai passports transitioned from Thai and French to Thai and English. Technological strides in passport production continued, with the introduction of the Digital Passport System in 1993. Subsequent enhancements in 2000 streamlined the application process, reducing production time to three days.
