Gabrielle of Habsburg-Lorraine
This Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes passport belonged once to Baroness Gabriella (Ella) Franciska Maria Nikolic. The mother of the wife (Dagmar) of Archduke Leopold Maria of Austria, Prince of Tuscany. Unfortunately, the travel document is without her passport picture, which was removed.
The passport is a Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes type, issued in February 1929. At that time, the country had already undergone a renaming to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
Incorporated within the passport is a captivating image of Gabrielle, Dagmar’s daughter, who was born in 1921 and was 8 years old at the time of issuance. The photograph vividly captures her, joyfully holding her dog.(Some discrepancy here with the birth year as Wikipedia states 1921, Geni states 1922 and the passport 1920???)
Gabrielle of Habsburg-Lorraine (1921–1996)
Designated Countess of Wolfenau in 1922, wed Swiss banker Johannes von der Mühll in 1948. They had two daughters and a son in Switzerland before divorcing in 1958. She died in 1996 in Zurich. The passport, a historical document, provides a glimpse into travels until 1933, encompassing various countries. Noteworthy destinations include Austria, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Greece, and Tunisia.

A quite interesting passport of lower Yugoslavian nobility with a link to a notable royalty, and with a curious passport photo. That’s why I love passport history.
