of Tamar M. Oppenheimer was at auction. Dr. Oppenheimer was the Director of the Narcotic Drug Division. The passport or to be more precise the Laissez-passer was issued in April 1982 at the headquarters of the UN in New York and was valid till 1985.

First Canadian Woman
Dr. Tamar Oppenheimer (BA’46, LLD’94) was the first Canadian woman to serve as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and began her distinguished career with the UN in 1946, three weeks after her graduation from McGill University.
